Open in… New York, New York, one of the world renowned cities, famous for its glitz and busy lifestyle with shops holding some of the most famous names in the fashion business, one could hardly think this would be a place for a church.
Looking around (especially in the U.K and Brazil) and you’ll see lots of different nationalities and people from all sorts of backgrounds and that’s the way we like it. We will welcome you whoever you are and whatever you may have been in the past.
But the UCKG knows that even in the midst of prosperity, suffering still destroys the lives of many Recently, Bishops Macedo, Renato and Bira, together with hundreds of church members, celebrated the opening of this long-awaited cathedral for the grand opening of a new 1000- seat cathedral. Many were ecstatic about the new cathedral.
On the day, people filled the church as they gathered for the first prayer. Receiving a message of strength from Bishop Macedo, many were willing to get the help they needed by giving their lives to God.The UCKG is not about airs and graces or trying to impress anyone. What you see is what you get. The down-to-earth Christian church believes that anyone’s life can be changed for the better – in fact, not just changed but transformed.
